1. Get A Pair of Good Running Shoes

Running for beginners starts with a good pair of trainers. Shoes are perhaps the most obvious running gear you can have, but you need something more comfortable in your case. At the age of 50, you are more susceptible to injuries. If you were considering using those old grass-stained Adidas that have been sitting in your closet for a year, do yourself a favor and get something that has plenty of cushions to keep your feet injury-free.

If you are buying a pair of running shoes, make sure you also buy a couple of pairs of socks as well. These socks need to be made of moisture management fabrics to ensure you have a more comfortable experience while jogging.
